morethanmeatandpoatoes-deactiva asked: So I'm trying to become a vegetarian, and although you're a vegan, I think it has pretty similar struggles. I haven't ate meat in a little over a week, but how do you make sure that you stay on track? (By the way you're beautiful!)
Aww thanks for the compliment!
My number one thing that helps me stay on track is planning meals!
Although I don’t literally write it out, but some people do, its really helpful to know in advance what you’re going to eat so you dont resort to eating meat. Also, have some plans for what you’re going to eat if you have to eat out. If your friends always stop at Mickey D’s or some restraunt, go ahead and choose a veggie item so youll remember to choose that and not a burger for example.
#2 is always have groceries!
After you eat through all the veggie stuff you love (like I heart soy chicken nuggets and veggie chili) itll be easy to want to eat meat. Go to the grocery store at regular intervals like every week or every two weeks to avoid a veggie foods shortage.
Thats all I can thing of off the top of my head. But if I think of more after work, Ill message you!
Thanks for asking! :)
